Born and raised in Zürich-Höngg, Yves Charpilloz, a.k.a. Charp, started tattooing in Montpellier, France, in 2013.

Starting out as an all-rounder in a street shop, he has, over the years, specialised in American Traditional.

Bold lines, solid colours, and whip shading turn every design into a timeless classic. The kind of tattoo you can recognise from 20 metres away.

“Bold will hold,” as they say.

He loves the simplicity of the imagery, the power that each motif carries, and the story behind it. His all-time favourites are panthers, eagles, and roses, and if you want to take it to the next level, just stick a dagger right through it.
